Closure
English Today is No More!
It is with enormous regret that we have to announce that English Today has been unable to survive the Covid 19 pandemic. No-one could have predicted how long it would be before we were able to accept visitors from overseas in comfort and safety. As a result, despite extensive encouragement from many, many of our past customers and agents, and huge support from our hosts, Culford School, we have had to close our doors and cease to operate.
However, all is not lost! John is moving to Westonbirt School in Gloucester, where he will again be running courses for non-English-speaking students. So we hope we will soon be seeing many of our clients again and we will be arranging visits for our agents, but in a new location and under a new name. He will still be your point of contact and, until he has his arrangements in place, he will be contactable on his usual business email and will keep our regular contacts informed.
So let this not be “Goodbye” but “Auf Wiedersehen”, “Hasta la próxima”, “Au revoir” or “A Presto!”. Keep in touch……
With warm regards from

“It is my greatest pleasure to say a BIG THANK YOU to you and your team for a most wonderful stay you made for all our kids and teachers during their time in Culford. Both teachers and kids loved the time there so much – the lessons, the school with its wonderful facilities, the food and activities etc. They were full of praise for all your work and care and efforts you put in to make their time unforgettable.”

Here I had the best time of my life. Thanks to Yve, Jo, Steve and John for the nice English lessons. I’m so sad that our trip is over.

I’m so sad that our trip is already over. The teachers and the other people are so friendly. It was one of the best times of my life!

I loved everything. It was the best time of my life. But I really loved the teachers and the different atmosphere compared to my country. Here everything is so stressful and everyone is so rude. But in England I felt like heaven 🙂
I would do anything to come to English Today again.
